We apply cryo-electron microscopy and single-molecule methods to study medically relevant macromolecular complexes

Biography

Megan's Bio

Megan received her Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Delaware in December 2018. During her undergraduate career, she conducted research in the Mathematics Department with the aim of creating a mathematical model to understand the underlying principles that govern the assembly and renewal of cells in tissue. Megan began her Ph.D. in the Quantitative Biomedicine program in the IQB at Rutgers University in September 2019. Megan's doctoral studies focus on structure determination of medically important DNA replication complexes using cryo-EM, CLEM and cryo-ET. In her free time, Megan enjoys exercising and playing guitar and piano.
